Create recovery image

For restore completely your computer you need create recovery image (CD/DVD/removable device). On the Veeam console, click on Inventory tab. Select the server group that contains the server to be restored. Select de server and click on Recovery Media on the rubban.

A new wizard appear, click on Next.

Specify the folder where recovery image is going to be stored. Click Next on other windows to start creation.

ISO is been created. You can burn iso on DVD or use removable device.

Restore the server

Start on the cd the server to restore. A wizard appear, click on Bare Metal Recovery.

You can use Local storage or Network storage. If your backup is present on local disk or usb disk, choose Local storage and if backup is present on Veeam server choose Remote storage. In my case, backup is present on my Veeam Backup Server so i choose Network storage.

Select the Network Storage and click on Next. If you backup has present on Veeam server, choose Veeam Backup Repository.

Enter address IP or DNS name of Veeam Server. Enter Username and password and click on Next.

Select the backup then the computer that you want to restore and click on Next.

All restore point available appear, select the desired restore point and click on Next.

Select the desired restore mode. i want to restore in Bare Metal Mode, so i choose Entire computer. Click on Next to validate the choice.

Click on Restore to launch Restoration. When the task is finish, you can restore your server.
