NeoWave Fido2 Key
I received my FIDO2 NeoWave key a few weeks ago. Different models are available at NeoWave.
- Winkeo-C FIDO2 : Type C USB key, it allows authentication on online services in different environments (mobile, tablet and smartphone). It is compatible with the passwordless.
- Winkeo FIDO2 : This key is used for web and cloud authentication. It is compatible with the Fido2 and Fido U2F standards
- Badgeo FIDO2 et Badgeo NFC FIDO2 : This smart card is compatible with the FIDO2 and FIDO U2F standards. It provides strong authentication on the Web and the Cloud. It can be deployed in mobile and office environments.
- Winkeo FIDO U2F : This “plug’n play” USB key allows for simplified identity management on the Web and the Cloud.
Configure WinKeo FIDO2 key and Azure AD
From the Azure AD portal, click on Azure Active Directory then on Security.
Click on Authentication methods then on FIDO2 Security Key.
Click on Yes for Enable the Authentification Method. It’s possible to limit Fido 2 authentification method with Azure AD Groups. I choose to limit this authentification method at few users in my tenant. Click on Configure to configure options.
Check that Enforce key restrictions is disabled.
Click on Save.
Configure Azure AD Account
From the my sign in portal/ click on Security Information then on Add a connection method.
Choose Security key and click on Add.
Select the type of the key.
A new windows appear, click on Next.
Insert the usb security key and configure pin code.
Enter name of the Security key and click on Next.
Click on Finish. THe key has been added.
Modify Pin Code
You may need to change the PIN code. This operation is done from the Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.
From the workstation, access the Windows parameters windows and click on Account.
Click on Sign-in options then on Security key. Click on Manage.
Click on Modify to modify Pin code.
Enter the current pin code and the new pin code.
Pin Code has been modify.
Modify Pin Code
You may need to change the PIN code. This operation is done from the Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.
From the workstation, access the Windows parameters windows and click on Account.
Click on Sign-in options then on Security key. Click on Manage.
Click on Modify to modify Pin code.
A warning message appears, click on Continue.
