Configure Microsoft Launcher
IT Admins can customize home screens of managed devices. we can configure wallpaper, applications and icon positions. The appearance of Android devices is thus standardized.
Add application on Intune
From the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center, click on Apps.
Click on All Apps then on Add. In the dropdown list, select Manage Google Play app.
Search Launcher and select application.
Click on Approve then on Sync.
Click on Android for view only Android application.
Microsoft Launcher is been added on Endpoint Manager admin center but is not assigned. Click on Microsoft Launcher.
Click on Properties.
Click on Edit then add All devices groups. Click on Review + Save then on Save.
Configure Microsoft Launcher
From the Endpoint Manager Admin center, click on Apps then on App configuration policies. Click on Add then on Managed devices.
Enter the desired name and select Android Enterprise on platform. Select the Profile Type (Fully managed, Personally-Owned work profile, etc.) then select MS Launcher application.
You can use JSON data or Configuration designer, i use Configuration designer for configure parameter. Click on Add for add new configuration parameter.
You can use this link to have the detail of each parameter. Select the desired parameter and click on OK.
Configure the configuration value and click on Next.
Configure Assignments and click on Next. Click on Create for launch creation of the policy.
Test MS Launcher
My Android device has been enrolled. Microsoft Launcher has been installed on my device. Open Microsoft Launcher.
Click on Use with your professional or school account and select your user account.
Microsoft Launcher has been configurer. Calendar, task, etc. will be synchronize and appear on the application.
